Today was the annual "Butterfly Flutter" at the Cockrell Butterfly Museum. We are supporters of all things Butterflies and naturally anything Cockrell. We had our friends Noah, JAMP, Rees, Parker, Alden, John, Faith, Grace, Sarah Kate and Patrick on hand to share in all the excitement.
We had our hands painted, decorated cookies ...then ate all the evidence!
Isn't that JAMP a handsome boy?
When we arrived back home for lunch "Mister UPS" was delivering a present from "Auntie T" and Mary Evans....our very own butterfly garden!!! The timing was perfect! We cannot wait to get started growing our own butterflies as soon as we finish "Project Easter Chicks"
This past week, "Farmer Devon" from Wabash Feed Store came and brought us our fertilized chicken eggs and we have incubator central set up in the kitchen next to Sinclair's garden. Hopefully, God willing in about three weeks we will be the proud hatchers of a dozen baby chicks.....make that 11 .....Sinclair got a little excited and made "wavy eggs" with the first one dropping it in the incubator.
