Why I felt the need to begin a blog about this I don’t know. I think, being a mother myself, I have gotten tired of reading in the news papers every day about a child going missing, a child being molested or a child being left in a hot car. Since becoming a mom I have found that my battles I have chosen in life are those of what lines of protection is there really for my child? What laws can really be used to stop these people.
The story I am obsessed with as of late is pathological liar and con artist, Casey Anthony. June 2008 her then 2 year old child, after allegedly being placed with a “nanny” that she’s supposedly used for two years (yet the own grandmother and any other family members have never met this nanny) suddenly decides to kidnap the child and disappears. Pictures just surfaced in the media recently, released by a club performer of Casey Anthony having a grand old time at a club named Fusian in Orlando, Florida. Just one week after he child was allegedly “kidnapped”, she was out promoting and smiling. After some 31 days the grandmother calls the police and tells them her daughter, Casey, just admitted that her daughter, Caylee, is missing. I’m confused. Casey and Caylee lived with Cindy, the grandmother. You’re just now noticing that Caylee is missing?
Something is severely not adding up.
They arrest Casey. Cindy Anthony goes on the defense. Ms. Anthony, you yourself called the police to have her arrested? Is it just me, or is Cindy as nutty as the daughter is? The police dig through the backyard, no Caylee. They police find a stain and a really bad smell in her car. The mother claims it was pizza that was left in the trunk. Several forensic people have told the mother it’s impossible for pizza rotting to create the same smells that were in the car. Cindy Anthony is in denial and refuses to break from her reasoning that the smell was rotting pizza. The grandmother is just as defensively twisted as the daughter.
Speeding up the story, Casey Anthony has thrown out three names. Zanaida Fernandez Gonzolez (is it just me or does that seem manufactured?); Juliet Lewis (I thought this named sounded really familiar. It’s an actress, a real ding bat one at that too); and then some Hopkins guy who they have tracked down, fit the information she said who claims to not have spoken to her in years, never met Caylee and has no clue what they’re talking about. The father of this guy said the Anthony family contacted him and said not to speak to anyone. Is that strange? Then the brother, Lee Anthony says its a different Jeffrey Hopkins.
I say we Chinese water torture this Mother until she sings like a bird. Then again that is too good for her.
What is most disturbing is her calm, cool, carefree demeanor. My little girl just turned two, a year younger than Caylee. My heart races if I am 5 minutes without her in my presence. The mention of “field trip” (once she enters school) has me in a emotional spin cause I think of all the “what if’s”. The thought of my child going missing causes me to feel absolutely panic stricken. Every mother fears a day like that. We go to great extents to make sure it does not. Well, let me rephrase that, all mother’s except Casey Anthony. I would go to hell and back to find my child. Put me in prison and I would claw my way through the walls, I would kick, scream at the top of my lungs HELP ME PLEASE FIND MY DAUGHTER !!!!!!!!!!! What does Casey do? She argues with her mother. Blames her mother for her incarceration. Screams, cusses and then denies her family access to see her. She fights with people on the phone. She smiles. Not once have I seen her break down. My world would end as I know it if my child was missing for 5 minutes much less well over a month.
I have my own idea of where this child is. Could the father possibly have her? Casey Anthony has said he’s “Dead”. Maybe he’s not. Where is the "Dead" Father's family? They do not care about their grandchild? If everyone has listened to the 911 tapes, Cindy threatens Casey with going to the “child thing.. getting custody and you’ll never…”. Did they threaten to take Caylee from Casey? Did Casey put the child somewhere else? Does a drug dealer have her? I would think with a $250,000 reward someone would come forward and do the right thing for the cash anyway. I think if Casey killed her, she’d eventually show signs of breaking down. Then again we know she is truly pathological and sociopaths do not respond or recognize to what they do as wrong. Do you think maybe her knowing the child is safe somewhere only SHE knows about is what’s keeping her calm? Maybe she’s thinking, keep quiet, say nothing, they’ll eventually let me out and I know exactly where my child is. I’m not worried. She’s safe.
I think the family knows more then they’re saying. The grandmother Cindy especially. I watched them on Larry King last week, Cindy is defensive, especially about the pizza. When Larry King asked if Casey was on drugs, Cindy the grandmother went nuts and said "I am a registered nurse, my daughter has clear skin that means she does not do drugs. I would know if she did" I was stunned when I heard this analogy. This crazy woman insists she would know if her daughter did drugs but yet she does notice her grandchild missing for a month. The constant enabling is mind blowing. I cannot figure out the Grandfather to save my life. He is an ex-cop and he is the most passive family member. They are really trying to pull attention away from a murder conclusion and remain on the idea that the child was abducted. Maybe they know who has her too and they think the media coverage will force them to bring her back while Casey is in prison cause Casey has instructed this person or people not to release the child to the family.
Now as a break in the case develops a California bail bondsman and his Uncle who is a bounty hunter is posting this loons half million dollar bond -- NOT her family. Of course the bondsman and the bounty hunter have a reality show - I am sure this is a PR ploy. She will be free as early as Monday and naturally a huge flight risk. The only good I can see coming from this is she will take the police on leads to where or who has this little girl.
Something is painfully not adding up. Something is terribly wrong with this family and if, by the Lords good grace, this child comes strolling into those cameras for us, I hope and pray the police take custody of the child.
The entire Anthony family seems twisted and wrong on a multitude of levels.

Doesn't it just make you CRAZY??! I think the thing that frustrates me so much is that no one seems to be able to FORCE anyone to do anything. I really like the Chinese water torture idea or maybe waterboarding?? It's at times like these that our judicial system seems so skewed in favor of the guilty over the innocent. This woman has taken law enforcement for a RIDE!

I find this case very disturbing. Here you have the grandmother in the spotlight with her myspace page and going on tv pleaing for the return of Caylee when she should be held accountable herself. I am sorry, but her daughter, with her history of lying, odd jobs, partying all night, etc etc should not have even have had custody of this poor child. If the grandparents were as concerned as they say they are, they would have questioned her daughter leaving for a job…why didn’t they ask her what she was doing with her daughter, Caylee?? Normally when people go out of town and cannot take their children, they usually have help from family and grandparents. It sounds like the granmother really didn’t care about this child, otherwise she would have been helping out her young daughter raise little Caylee. I am sure there were signs of neglect and abuse if you look back. The grandmother should be spending her time with her own daughter talking to her in jail trying to convince her to tell her the truth about Caylee, instead of going on TV and wasting everyones time as if someone kidnapped her. She disgusts me as much as her daughter…especially saying this this woman is a good mother. Right!!! She is in denial and she should have been there for her own daughter to help her with Caycee in the first place. They should be looking for Caycee’s poor little body if you ask me…most of these cases in the media are so tragic and so preventable. If families would just step in and help or notify the authorities at the first sign of trouble, perhaps many more children in this country could be saved.
I am the mother of three children ages 7, 8 & 13. I found this story heart breaking! After reading all the news articles and everything, I strongly believe that Caylee’s mom knows exactly where she is and what happened to her. You know the people of this world has lost all compassion and it’s sad! If Caylee is alive (God, I’m praying she is!), she’s a baby, she’s without her MOMMY and her family, so she’s alone and confused. Looking at Casey, she seems to have this demonic look on her face that is clearly not normal. She seems as if she really needs help mentally speaking! Someone needs to REALLY talk with her to find out what exactly led to all of this and why Caylee has to suffer. Her parents seem to have a strong belief that Casey is a good mother but how does she prove to be a good mother by waiting so long to report her child being missing? She does not deserve to be out on bond because this girl has some serious mental issues that need to be addressed ASAP!!!!! I AM PRAYING that this baby is still ALIVE and that she is OK because her MOTHER IS A SAD CASE! GOD BE WITH THIS FAMILY!!
After reading these blogs, we really need to focus on the true problem in this whole case and it is the mother. She knows where the child is but wants to do her own investigation. She told law enforcement today that she will talk to them about Caylee if they grant her immunity. What nonsense is this? She wants immunity from what. She has told numerous lies and how can we believe her or her family. The dogs found a scent in the car today which is decomposition. I have the awful feeling that Caylee has been injured or something worse and the mother who seems to be cold as ice knows that. This woman needs some mental help and she needs to be honest and tell where her baby is before it is too late.
This is a very bizarre case. No emotions, she knows where or what happened to her child, there is no doubt. Any mother, even if a poor mother, I believe has a heart for their child, if she didnt know, she would be histerical. I wonder if they have tested her for drugs? There are reports that she was at clubs partying. Could she have been strung out and gave her child away? or sold her?
My daughter is about the same age, and named Haylee. I cant get this out of my mind. Her actions are not consistent with a mother who truly has no idea where her child is at. All I can think of is what if this poor child is still alive, what is she going through…. I pray for her throughout the day.
I am totally sickened and I have lost 3 nights of sleep over this case! That sleazy b*tch Casey knows EXACTLY what horrible thing she has done to the child. She is just to stubborn and thinks she is going to get away with this.
I pray that I am wrong and that Caylee will turn up unscathed but I think this case will go down like Madelaine McCann or WORSE! I really believe in my gut (and my gut usually is right) that this evil Casey has killed or sold her child. Even if it was an “accidental” death, she needs to let the someone know. What a sorry piece of sh*t she is.
I would like one hour alone with Casey and she would regret ever being born.
Cynthia Anthony suspects that Casey killed her, that is why she said no matter what horrible thing Casey has done that she would forgive her.

I WAS ON VACATION IN FLORIDA WHEN THIS CAME TO LIGHT. I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THIS STORY AND I MUST SAY AFTER READING THE AFFIDAVIT….THEY DONT NEED TO LET THE MOTHER OUT ON BAIL. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHERE THE FATHER IS….THE MOTHER CLAIMS HES DEAD…BUT SHES A LIAR! I ALSO WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT HER EXPLANATION ABOUT THE SHOVEL. I AM SURPRISED THEY DIDNT QUESTION HER IN THE AFFIDAVIT. I WANT TO KNOW HOW SHE WAS GETTING MONEY TO SUPPORT HER DAUGHTER WITHOUT A JOB. THE FRIEND LOANED HER THE CAR FOR A WEEK WHILE SHE WAS GONE…..BUT WHAT DID CASEY SAY WAS WRONG WITH HERS OR WHERE IT WAS?SHE HAS NO EXPLANATION TO WHERE HER DAUGHTER IS…THEY SHOULD NOT LET HER OUT, ITS OBVIOUS SHES LYING. Listening to some of the audio of Casey discussing this case is chilling. This women shows NO EMOTION regarding her own daughter. She is devoid of any love or concern for Caylee. This bitch shows all the classic characteristics of a fucking psychopath. After I heard her speak, my heart and my gut tells me that Caylee is not alive and mommy dearest is responsible for her death. I hope they have the death penalty in Florida because my instinct tells me that this heartless cunt desperately deserves it.
My gut reaction when I first heard this case was this was a power struggle between Cindy and Casey Anthony over control of Caylee and that she may be alive somewhere....the more that comes out about this case though, the more I worry about the chances of Caylee being found alive. I don't believe for one minute that Caylee was kidnapped, that's just smoke and mirrors. A sad story.
The mother doesnt want to belive that her child is that sick in the head..or that shes a murderer. The problem is she has to convince herself otherwise. Those initial 911 calls say it all. There are sick people out there. But do you really want to belive its your own child!
Watching the news from Orlando, you tube, CNN, and the newspapers, we are praying on a happy ending to the Caylee Anthony case.
Sadly, we don't think it will happen. Looking at the numbers for missing children of her age, the time line for a live, safe recovery long passed.
The mother, Casey Anthony, seemingly, is not co-operating with law enforcement. Her lies have police on wild goose chases, around Orlando. At this point, I think they should stop questioning her. She claims the lime light should be on her daughter, then put her daughter's photo and info out there, and that is all. In an interview, with the Union County, South Carolina Sheriff, sorry I do not remember his name he was asked, when he knew that Susan Smith had done something to the boys. He said immediately. When asked how he knew, he said "Look at her on the television. She's dressed, she has a bow in her hair. She spoke of her children in past tense." Casey Anthony behaviors are out of the norm too.
It is time to give up on working with her. She obviously feels that she holds the 'key', as her family has said. Put just her lawyer on the visiting list, and shut her up for a while. Since she does like to keep her eye on what is happening, the lack of the news, her family, and holding the media hostage, will pressure her.
As to Cindy Anthony's own behavior. I do think the family needs a spoke person, as Cindy herself is under a huge amount of pressure. You can see the wear on her physically, and remember the conversation that Lee had with his sister, he said he was not going around with her anymore, and not going to be put through what she (Cayce) has put their mother through for weeks. So, this has been an on going nightmare long before we, the public knew it. I do find it hard to believe that a local church member hasn't volunteered that we know of, as Cindy needs to distance herself. As a horrifying end may be on the horizon.
As there are so many theories floating around, I would like to toss mine in, just for good measure. Casey supposedly, has been using code and guarded conversation since the beginning. She claims to have lost her 'black jack' cell phone. As she has spoken of very few places, but she did name the Blanchard Park. Where she supposedly was with her friends, and knows that is was the last place she used her phone. Since she is supposedly talking in code, I wonder if there is a connection with the park. Where by the way, around the same time a woman was found murdered. I hope you have never seen a crime scene, but I know for a fact that there every inch would have been gone over. I wonder if she put the child somewhere in the park, because it had been a former crime scene.
I know someone who is a pathalogical liar and a sociopath. Casey reminds me of her a lot.
So, I thought it would be intresting to ask her about the Anthony Case, and what her take is on it.
I asked her if she thought Casey killed Caylee, her response was "absolutly".
I asked he why she would do it and she said, it was because she was jealous of all the attention Caylee got from Casey's parents. And Casey didn't want to be bothered with taking care of a kid.
I asked why she didn't just give Caylee to her parents if she didn't want her. She said she wouldnt do that, because of the power struggle. Caseys mother had probobly taken over in raising Caseys daughter, so there was a power stuggle going on between Mom and Grandma. So, Casey thougth I'll show you Mom and she killed her daughter.
She also stated that she thougth Casey's brother Lee knows what happened and Casey is enjoying all the attention she is getting. That was all she said.
I wonder if the reason Casey refused a jail visit from her brother is beacause she is afraid Lee will accidently say something to incriminate her. I think Casey's parents also know by now,(Originally they believed it was a kindnapping, that is why she blurted out thet the car smells like a dead body was in it) but they can't stand the idea of losing their daughter too. So they have begun trying to protect her.

I am so with you on this! And, I am always a parent "volunteer" for field trips with school because I too think of all the "what if's!"
I don't particularly like the reptile exhibit at the zoo, or seeing "Seussical the Musical" for the 10th time (once was great!!), but no one watches our children as closely as we do!!

obsessed, too. I totally think something's up with the grandmother. Not that she necessarily had something to do with the disappearance but maybe covering up info. It's so obvious with all the lies Casey told that she is involved. Also..........I LOVE Nancy Grace but last night I was watching greta van sustern *sp and she seemed to have more info...details.

I watched Greta last night and she had this woman on who the mother said she left the kid with and never saw her again, it was a strange story. The lady says she doesn't know any of them.
