Yesterday was our little friend, Hallie's birthday -- she had a fabulous party at the local cupcake shop. This has been a popular place among the little girl set this summer.

Cupcake eating was much more fun than cupcake decorating. Our friend Thomson soaked up the scene very seriously. So precious!

That face-painting is so beautiful! My kids are used to other children doing the face painting (and me telling them as they paint,"no, a basketball is ORANGE, honey...")
