This week my precious son-in-law, Lucky and his best friend, Drew surprised me with following up on my suggestion to cut their long locks and donating them to LOCKS OF LOVE
The ponytails had to be a minimum of 10" and needed to be in great condition. Both guys passed with flying colors.
Drew's locks reminded me of the biblical character Samson
Geneva was here to shape up their new cuts
Hailey was pretty excited that her husband was getting a new look - that he carried off quite dashingly I might add
Lucky let me take the first whack -- brave, brave man!
Lucky's locks will go to help create wigs for children that are stricken with cancer
Lucky got a consolation hug from JoJo afterwards....
About to be new parents deserves a new "look"

Locks of love is REALLY big here in Tulsa. My 14 year old's friends have done it, I think 2 have done it twice, and my 12 year old has about 3 boys on his baseball team that have done it. Nice to know it's going on in other places, too!
