Happy Mother's Day

So far today has been a SPECTACULAR Mother's Day!! About four o'clock this morning a horrible storm cut a wide path through the neighborhood and woke everyone up. We expected to have some damage from rising Bayou and blown trees and when we went out to swing all was in full bloom chirping through the breeze.

I wanted to post a few photos of Sinclair's Dollhouse especially to show "Owl" --- we finished putting up the wallpaper this week and painted the kitchen "mellow yellow"

We found the perfect Mickey Mouse doorknocker to accessorize her front door.

Today we held Mother's Day breakfast in Sinclair's house. Daddy got us fresh "Doe-Doe's" and Sinclair poured apple juice from her tea set.

Sinclair captured this shot of me enjoying my second Mother's Day with my wonderful and truly loved family!

The second floor sports a little less decor but "Oscar" has found a special place in the loft.

Old habits die hard..... after brunch she only wanted to go back to her "tower" in the kitchen and watch "Clifford" and "Dora"
