We arose very early Saturday morning to excitement and anticipation....it was "Big D's birthday" (as Sinclair lovingly refers to her brother, Daniel). She started a little earlier than everyone else with a celebratory chocolate donut! We told her we were headed out to Uncle Meredith's ranch and she immediately ran around in circles and started clapping. Unfortunately, Uncle Meredith were with (his parents) Aunt Mary and Uncle Roy in route to Chicago with art curators from the Czech Republic and the MFA.
Daniel and Veronica had the whole thing planned and they had started the day before with an elaborate meal prepared by Chef Ron.

It took Sinclair the length of the car walk to the pool (100 yards) to shed her clothes and grab Veronica by the hand to "Go Pool"

Sinclair wanted to "Play Pool" and was pretty perturbed when Daddy was on the phone talking "oil bizness"
After a fun swim, lots of Chef Ron's BBQ and Chicken n' Dumplin's and a nice long nap she went to go visit her friend "Woofie" and "love, Woofie with kisses" -- we explain he is a pig but she insists on calling him "Woofie" anyway.
Ralph Lauren are you out there?
After a solid half hour of loving this cement sculpture, Daniel came and shared some birthday sugar of his own

Our friend Nae came in from Dallas and was eager to share her french fries so Sinclair shared her favorite Dora songs and even showed this die hard T-sip how to jam to the Aggie War Hymn!!!

We all sat stunned in the driveway looking at this little person that is not even two and she seems so mature! I personally cannot always master the iPod and she blows through it with a breeze. Organizing 600 songs on your ipod and 132 videos of "Dora the Explorer" and "Clifford, the Big Red Dog" is like blowing past Vince Young in the Wonderlic test and taking the Mensa test blindfolded.
I am telling you this kid could have orchestrated the Yahoo (MS) deal and there would not be any pissed off shareholders!

Kids do grow up fast but she is extremely advanced. I have seen it, drank the kool-aid and I am a believer. That child is brilliant
