precious pictures as usual.Whew! what a week. you had your hands full with that previous post.you poor thing. there were some nutty people there,you sure must have a thick skin,i'd probably be in tears. i believe it boils down to pure-D(as my maw-maw said) jealousness of you. those of us who are secure,happy and comfortable don't behave that way.such anger directed at you.you keep doing what you're doing. there are enough of us to watch your back!! we'll outshout those morons any time.back to those cute pictures: i'm jealous of your sunshine. it's getting cold up north even had a few snow flurries.the ducks in our pond are gone but the canadian geese are here now. my friend in houston was bragging about being in the pool,i was getting the fur out of storage.you have a nice day with your sweet little girl.my maggie is going to an american girl fashion show with her other grammie for her 8th birthday.she'll have a lot to tell me.i'm taking her to the radio city rockettes christmas show the day after thanksgiving what fun those little girls are. life goes on,we have to enjoy these things to make it worthwhile. i just hate to see the anger and hate that's in the world that these little children will see.
I agree Grammie, taking away the American Dream can sure create some anger and hate. I wish Obama would have left his socialist retoric out of the campaign.

Krist you should go to work for the republican party GOP, you would be a great asset to them.
I'm guessing that there are lots of people right now who are blaming Pres.Bush for the loss of their "American Dream". economy,(job loss),war, (loved ones.) etc. before you get your thong in a knot , i voted for george bush. Re-read Kristi's post about supporting Obama, he hasn't been sworn in yet and you've decided the dream is over and done.Yep,that will surely help.
Excuse me, I didn't decide anything, Obama is the one that said "spread the wealth around" unless he is a liar which I would not be surprised if he was. Get your facts straight maggie's grandma

what's the purpose of attacking other bloggers here? I hope Obama does nothing, I don't want to pay higher taxes or have a government run health program. I hope he is a liar, I have not given up the American Dream, but I tell you what, I am looking for a cash business just in case.
We also can't blame everything on the government and Bush. We had a shady mortgage broker when we were refinancing our house, he told us to lie about our salary. We showed him where the door was. American people need to start living within their means. We don't live above our means but most of our neighbors do. They spend their weekends our in front of their house as we head to our San Bernard river property because they put all their money most 100K or more into redoing their houses. One of our neighbors has another baby every time her husband pushes her to go back to work and last year they paid their property taxes in payments. We all don't have to drive gas guzzling SUV's or live in 5,000 square foot houses. I learned my lesson when I was in grad school and my dad would leave me to take care of his house, talk about a lot to do. I can't even fatham what the ac bills are in some of these houses. We cut our ac bill in half with window inserts and this year my son would rather go to the neighborhood pool so today we have a jackhammer and are filling in the pool. We plan to build a wind power system for our river house and sell back what we don't use. Our next door neighbor is a Centerpoint lineman so he will be a big help. I recycle everything I can and we pick up all the cans we see on the streets and cash them in. Everyone needs to go green. I also take my own bags to the grocery store. Living the way I see people living now, i.e. I work at a private school where all the kids come from West U, this planet is not going to make it and we are going to go bankrupt. They actually are building a 2,500 square foot house in our neighborhood and I think that is big enough for a family of 3 or 4. I come from a family of overspenders and wasters, and I am conscious to try and not do that. Keeping up with the Jonses does not interest me.
Oh and we traded in our gas guzzling Mastercraft for a boat that does the same thing and gets good gas mileage. So, there ya go. We can't leave everything to the government.
Also, one other thing that I find interesting is everyone buying the hybrids. When the battery goes out, the last I heard if the warranty has expired you will be paying 10K for a new battery. Diesels are not catching on here. My 300D gets better gas mileage than a smart car, and today we are replacing the clutch in the ac compressor, it has 132K on it and so little repairs. But that is ok, that means more diesels for us. I still want to see the new BMW diesels that will be coming out next year.

how could any intelligent person say "i hope obama does nothing",just so you can say see i was right? that's the nuttiest thing i've seen in a long time.
kristi would you mind telling me where you got that little outfit sinclair wore for her first day of school,monogramed with little pants under it? if you don't--no problem,i know you're probably tired of keeping up with this blog! i had to change the subject,this is getting ridiculous!

SUPREME COURT JUSTICE SOUTER ORDERS OBAMA TO PRODUCE BIRTH CERTIFICATE DECEMBER 1
This is interesting. Souter tells Obama to produce the vault copy by December 1, 2008. I believe the messiah will defy the Justices.
Who will force the issue? Who wants to open up that pandora’s box?
Imagine if there is something on that birth certificate that disqualifies Obama from the office of the President. What are you going to do? Start a civil war? There will be blood in the streets you try to enforce the rule of law. This should have happened before the election. Obambi knows it too.
If The Supreme Court Decides??
At this point, Supreme Court Justice David Souter’s Clerk informed Philip J. Berg, the lawyer who brought the case against Obama, that his petition for an injunction to stay the November 4th election was denied, but the Clerk also required the defendants to respond to the Writ of Certiorari (which requires the concurrence of four Justices) by December 1. At that time, Mr. Obama must present to the Court an authentic birth certificate, after which Mr. Berg will respond.
If Obama fails to do that, it is sure to inspire the skepticism of the Justices, who are unaccustomed to being defied. They will have to decide what to do about a president-elect who refuses to prove his natural-born citizenship.
“I can see a unanimous Court (en banc) decertifying the election if Obama refuses to produce his birth certificate,” says Raymond S. Kraft, an attorney and writer. “They cannot do otherwise without abandoning all credibility as guardians of the Constitution. Even the most liberal justices, however loathe they may to do this, still consider themselves guardians of the Constitution. The Court is very jealous of its power - even over presidents, even over presidents-elect.”
Also remember that on December 13, the Electoral College meets to cast its votes. If it has been determined that Mr. Obama is an illegal alien and therefore ineligible to become President of the United States , the Electors will be duty-bound to honor the Constitution.
