Girlfriends.....

This week I started reflecting on friends. I have been blessed with an abundance of girlfriends from all walks of life.


We stopped and took time to see Bridget, Sinclair's Godmother this week at her son's little league game. We have been friends almost 17 years, she is "voice of reason". This leads me to appreciate Shanna, Paula and Melissa who have all been in my life almost two decades or more.

Then I have Ryland and "Baby Jack" .....she is not only my friend, but my conscience, wit and saviour. Ryland truly missed her calling as a therapist. She is the one I consider my "rock of logic"

Then I have been blessed with friends like Eva. She brings her warm twinkling eyes with an effervescent inviting smile -- when I think of her, high morals and character immediately come to mind. I automatically just feel 100 percent better when I am in her presence or hear her voice.

The phone just rang like clockwork and it was Estela's chipper voice on the other end ready to empower, uplift and enlighten. "Chili" ....aka "Hawk's Mommy" is my Oprah, Dr Phil and in-house lawyer all rolled into one! I love her for her loyalty, ability to see situations and people for who and what they are. Also cannot live without her infectious giggle and knowing our friendship will mature for many years to come.

I received flowers this week from my other stellar gals: Momma T, Lori and LeighBee to remind me of great times we shared this week. Leigh could run General Electric and still consider it a part-time gig. What would I do without her?

Every now and then there is a new friend that finds their way -- when the stars align. Nicole and her sweet little man, Charlie. I just know she has many incredible attributes that will arise and I will appreciate her more every time I am around her.

These couple of fabulous girlfriends I have, listening to me and supporting me emotionally. I know these are friends who would stick with me come rain or shine, through thick and thin. Such gems they are. Friends who are hard to come by and who would go the extra mile to put that smile back on my face and cushion my strength.

Jenna, Nae, Courtney, Tricia, Lisa Jane, Katherine, Tracy, Corinne, Elena, Susan, Celia, Cynthia.....I love you all.

All I needed to do at all times when in need is say the word and these girlfriends would be there. I pretty very much sure that these fabulous girlfriends know who they really are.
