GIDDYUP COWGIRL!

Today we spent most of the day at the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo....we focused particularly on the petting zoo area. Sinclair got to ride a Longhorn and LOVED it! The "doitagain - doitagain" started the second we wanted her to dismount.

Soon she realized there were ponies to ride, tractors to command and pig races to watch. So much for such young eyes to take in!

Who does not love a petting zoo? Sinclair showed no fear and loved them all big and small. The sheep stood still long enough to let her get some hugs in. She was fond of the baby goats since they were just her size.

We were stunned how she did not hesitate to approach each animal with respect and a genteel demeanor.

Sinclair was very careful with her precious oats and extremely particular who she chose to feed. The two piggies of the pack were a young lamb and an anxious goat....neither looked as if they had missed a meal but then again at 34" she was an easy target!

By the time we headed back home she did not have to count all the sheep she saw to fall asleep -- it came very easy!
