YOU WOULD THINK OUR LAST NAME WAS MANNING....

It started very early Sunday morning. The Discovery Channel crew showed up with cameras, booms and Producers. OK, I am going to let my friends pause and take that one in....I know what you are thinking, for a moment half of you are pondering: A.) Casa Chaos FINALLY got our own reality show or B.) I called them to document Sinclair's potty training. Well, neither but it brings a smile to my face knowing half my friends think that way!

"Daddy-O" is being profiled as a "Captain of the Industry" in the oil business and "Uncle Stewie" and "Uncle Paul" came over and there was a round table discussion on oil and gas for FIVE hours! I am sure it is just a matter of time before word gets out about how funny and cute our family is and California will be calling. (Note to self: get rid of unlisted phone number incase Hollywood calls)

That is the kind of great weekend we had!! Many of our friends came over tonight to watch the playoff game. We were especially excited to see Auntie Tia and Uncle Sam. Sinclair's face always lights up as soon as they hit the door! We were so elated to see the sweet face of Mrs. Manning after Eli won the game against Green Bay tonight. I first met the Mannings when I lived in New Orleans in the late 90's and you could not imagine a more kind and grounded family than this All-American one. We just saw them again recently and met Eli's fiancee (whom he is marrying in April in Cabo) ....2008 will be a big year for that family!

Alas, in the midst of all the excitement and everyone yelling for their favorite teams....Sinclair looked at me with those 18 month old lapis baby blues and said "Mommy, pooopie" -- I checked her little Elmo diaper and nothing. I decided to seize the half-time moment and give Princess her bath and get ready for sweet slumbers. As I got her undressed she plopped herself up on her potty and took care of her business. I was just as proud of my little "muffin" as Olivia was of her Eli heading to his first Superbowl!! Now, why after five years can we still not get Clementine to mind her bodily functions that well? I have given up on that dog!

Also, we are still pretty ecstatic A.J. is coming in just 11 days!!! Today's favorite song is "Don't Let Me Down" from his self-titled release, Adrian James Croce.

Way to go!!! We're still saying bye bye to the poo poo as we flush. She's so advanced!
