Last night was suppose to be a wind down from a from weekend....well, it was fun for everyone else but the girls all at home recovering from the flu bug.
JoJo and CoCo still have yet to recover and are bedridden.
By the time Daddy got home from South Texas Sinclair was "wired for sound" --- Daddy put together her new tricycle and it has a bell!!! She is not quite long enough to stretch that little inseam out to touch the pedal, but she has the words "you, go-go" down (that is her request for you to push her) and then the little thumb stays sealed to the bell and the smiles start!
When Daddy and Hailey had all the pieces of this German masterpiece spread about the floor (who knew a mere tricycle could have 78 pieces and require a power drill?) -- he was fussing about how did the "mere mortals without engineering degrees put these together?"
About that time Uncle Corny and Aunt CeeCee came by to watch the Cowboys get slammed by Eli!!! It was so great to see them - we laid around like it had not been a day since we saw them last. We all gorged on Mexican food for Veronica's birthday! Sinclair blew everyone away- she is a true carnivore....she inhaled FIVE pieces of beef fajita pieces! She is SUCH a little Texan!
Gotta bolt, I hear that little bell ringing now.......
