BOOM-BOOM Sundays...

Today was the resurrection of Boom-Boom, the pet chicken.  We have a "timeshare" of sorts on "Boom-Boom" and usually on Sundays CoCo brings him from her house to come visit  us.

We hatched "Boom-Boom" and "Peep-Peep" (in our incubator) this past Easter and they have been getting prison furloughs to visit us on the weekends ever since.

Comments:

1. What about Peep Peep no visation previlages for him/her?

2. Will Boom Boom and/or Peep Peep have the ability to lay eggs?

3. What will happen to those eggs? Will Sinclair raise them and name them and take charge of them?

4. If there are offsprings where will they live?

5. Will Boom Boom and/or Peep Peep write a book regarding their adventures?

6. Could there be a movie by Disney far behind?

As you can fully understand there are some pressing issues that we need to get a handle on.

I love that Boom-Boom has a leash! How fun for Sinclair to be able to play with chickens. I, too, spent my sunday in pajamas. It's the only way to relax, really!

Oh Kristi, how fun!!! I think it's wonderful to teach our babies about the circle of life, from a little eg came forth Boom-Boom and Peep-Peep.
I don't know if you ever have a chance to check out my blog, but I did a challenge today to share some fun and to help out a family in need. A couple was in a plane crash that has four small children and they are badly burned. If you would like to know more or to particpate, please go to my blog: http://thelilaccottage.blogspot.com

Thanks Kristi! God Bless- Joanne

Just found this on the internet and thought it was cute. Hope you like it :)

Cup of Tea

One day my mother was out and my dad was in charge of me.

I was maybe 2 1/2 years old and had just recovered from an accident.

Someone had given me a little 'tea set' as a get-well gift and it was one of my favorite toys.

Daddy was in the living room engrossed in the evening news when I brought Daddy a little cup of 'tea', which was just water. After several cups of tea and lots of praise for such yummy tea, my Mom came home.

My Dad made her wait in the living room to watch me bring him a cup of tea, because it was 'just the cutest thing!' My Mom waited, and sure enough, here I come down the hall with a cup of tea for Daddy and she watches him drink it up.

Then she says, (as only a mother would know... :)

'Did it ever occur to you that the only place that baby can reach to get water is the toilet?'

I am surprised you have not posted anything about the Palin interview with Charlie Gibson, what a d*ck he was to her.

ummmmm to the comment above mine.... he's a journalist! It wasn't his fault that she didn't know what the Bush Doctrine was.

Kristi, hope you are and your family are safely away from Ike's path.

Hi KK - how about an update on what's going on down in Houston.

I'm guessing you must have power since you're posting replies here?

Hope all is well!
