Today was a truly monumental occasion. Some of our dearest friends, Chip and Jenna's twin boys, Rees and Parker celebrated their first birthday. It seems like just yesterday Jenna was pregnant and we were awaiting their arrival. About 80 friends and family (including "MeeMaw" who I am wild about) gathered to toast these two little cherubs, who also happen to be our Godsons. Jenna did not miss anything - there was a petting zoo, balloon artists and the most popular was the face painting!
Rees and sweet "Grandma Tere" met all the guests at the front door!!

The face painter worked double time do paint dragons, flowers, butterflies and ladybugs!

Sinclair first wanted a butterfly then decided the other arm looked bare without a ladybug!

Uncle Rick and Rees checking out the bunnies

Daddy and Rees sharing a little boy time

Rees and Parker loved all the attention - no naps for these two! They were running on pure adrenalin

The first thing Sinclair did when we got home she ran to see "Owl" and see how the playhouse progression was coming. We were not disappointed....

Ms Angie dropped off the tiny fireplace for the living room. This truly maybe her finest work to date. Al those pieces of Lladro and Strongwater are beautifully set among her hand painted mosaics. I am crazy for Angie's talent!
