100 THINGS ABOUT ME.....

1. I truly loved being pregnant ....till the very end, even at the height of summer when I was the size of a deck barge

2. My husband and daughter are the best two things that have ever happened to me

3. I do not wish to trade my life with anyone

4. I am somewhat impatient and have a flair for the dramatic

5. I wish I were as good a photographer as my girlfriend Lisa Jane

6. I can get teary eyed on commercials

7. I hate my elbows

8. I think I am very outgoing and personable ..... did I mention a "flair for the dramatic?"

9. I am a smart ass

10. I am more in love with my husband now than I have ever been

11. I make kick ass Southern comfort food (cream gravy, fried biscuits and banana pudding)

12. I absolutely never settle for less

13. My nose is the first thing to turn beet red when I eat any type of pepper - then the swelling starts

14. I honestly do not understand the fascination people have with tattoos or body piercings

15. I have had a long career in broadcasting but most do not know I was also a stockbroker

16. I was featured in Forbes and Playboy and today do not subscribe to either publication. Although my husband brings me his Forbes home from the office.

17. I wish my Dad and Sy were alive to meet Sinclair - they would go nuts over her

18. I have never had a cigarette or a beer in my life-- but should probably be serving time for a few things I never got caught doing

19. My husband is my soul mate ....there is not anything I could not forgive him for

20. I am loyal to a nauseating degree

21. I have fat baby toes

22. There is not anything about my life I would change

23. I hate all bugs -- especially the mosquitoes in the South that could be mistaken for flat footed turkeys

24. I was arrested for robbing a bank and had to get my mugshot taken to have my record expunged (mistaken identity....we laugh about it NOW)

25. I would love to have five children if my husband would let me

26. I am very afraid of scary movies

27. I love orchids and loathe red roses

28. I will try most any food once

29. I am constantly afraid something bad will happen to my husband or daughter so I smother them

30. I went deer hunting for the first time when I was four (we roll that way in Texas)

31. As a former enetertainment reporter, I love all those smutty celeb magazines but hate what the paparazzi stand for - so I hate to fuel the fire

32. I love to read biographies and all things history.... I am not so sure I will not be a historian in my next life chapter.

33. My best memories are places my husband and I have been

34. Contrary to what one would think, I am not overly competitive at all

35. I am afraid of the beach waves hitting my legs but I am a certified diver and have been scuba diver with no worries for almost 25 years.

36. I would love to skydive at least once in my life

37. I totally appreciate my Mother now that I am a Mom

38. I wish I could sing as good as Whitney Houston could in her prime

39. I have truly been blessed in my life and sometimes get paranoid something bad is going to happen

40. My favorite ice cream is Bluebell Homemade Vanilla

41. I love Osso Bucco from Piero's in Las Vegas so much that we had it shipped overnight to Houston while I was pregnant

42. If I were on death row my last meal would consist of fresh shucked Gulf Coast oysters, seared Foie Gras, ice cold Dr. Pepper and frozen hot chocolate from Serendipity topped off with a bacon slider burger from Bryan Caswell's Reef. Then again, with a $15 per diem I would have to cut the Foie Gras!

43. I truly am the most resourceful person I know

44. I cannot imagine life without my Tivo

45. I have a concealed handgun license

46. If I were worth $100 billion dollars a yacht would NOT be in my top 500 things to own

47. I am so proud of my gorgeous husband and his accomplishments - he is the smartest and most fair person I have ever known

48. I must admit, I have a pretty amazing Rolodex

49. My favorite cocktail is a Planters Punch or a Lemon Drop and I cannot recall the last time I had either

50. I hate flying commercial

51. I personally think I timed my life right and was single the ideal amount of time before I settled down

52. My favorite city in the world is Buenos Aires

53. I often listen to Country music

54. I am truly horrible at math...I was blessed with many extra genes --- the "math gene" was not one of them

55. I do not have the patience for board games or most fiction books. All history and biographies and I am in heaven.

56. I love watching golf on television

57. God gave me huge lips ....gloss scares me

58. I am a registered Republican but I listen to all sides

59. I want my daughter to grow up and be insanely happy and be whatever she wants to be

60. I loved our wedding day and relive that day 100 times a month in my head

61. I will own a convertible again one day

62. I literally get ill when I hear of people that intentionally hurt children....I often dream they had a special (torture) task force (that I was on) to get even with anyone that inflicted pain on kids.

63. I have had meningitis four times in my life

64. I was driving within a 100 mile radius of home by the time I was 13

65. I learned how to drive a stick shift by the time I was 8

66. I once stole a forklift (in high school) and drove it to Sonic

67. I have a weakness for all foods that are creamy

68. I get car sick

69. I always end my showers with ice cold water

70. Every Sunday I make a HUGE breakfast with way too much food

71. My family is the most important thing on earth to me

72. No one would ever call me bashful ....but they would say "she has a flair for the dramatic" and a "very wicked sense of humor"

73. If I were not a married Mommy I would love to be a writer on Saturday Night Live

74. If I had Bill Gates wealth I would make sure there was not a child that ever lacked for a present on Christmas morning

75. I never take for granted how blessed I am that I found someone as compassionate and patient as my husband

76. Unfortunately, I often judge those I do not know .....yet, I never judge those closest to me

77. I would never leave my house if I could get away with it. I am all about "nesting"

78. I am nuts for an "over the top" invitation

79. I think my (bonus) daughter Hailey is truly the strongest and most brave person I know

80. I wish I could speak other languages as beautifully as my elegant daughter-in-law Veronica

81. I wish I was as knowledgeable about political history as much as my (bonus) son Daniel

83. One of my favorite writers is Dr Hunter S Thompson

84. I love how my husband lights up a room when he enters and smiles

85. I appreciate one of my more well-known qualities is being so unedited

86. I took a welding class and Judaism in school

87. I can back a goose neck trailer for miles

88. I sat next to Cardinal John O'Connor at a dinner party once and he had to explain to me who he was

89. I have lived in Los Angeles, Aspen, New Orleans and New York.....Dorthy had it right "there is no place like home" --- I love Houston

90. My two favorite movies are Hellfighters and Giant (obviously, a big strong Texas man is my weakness)

91. I own too many Hermes Birkin bags ....it is my obsession

92. I am very forgiving but my memory never fails me

93. People that belittle waitstaff send me over the edge

94. I love anyone that can make me laugh

95. I love telling a story at my own expense. Self-deprecation is a trait people identify with me.

96. I do not think famous people are really happy for being famous

97. Very few people truly know me enough to understand me

98. I own haute couture I never wear but will never part with - hopefully, my daughter will love me for this one day

99. I love nothing more than to watch my daughter breath while she sleeps
