You always know when it is a big holiday at our house....the "Flower Fairies" come do a decorating jig! They have been working on decor and lights for days and will start again in the morning early. These boys are tireless. Kirksey is scheduled to come work his magic on the tree on Monday morning. This is when it will all come together and he makes it all look like a Neiman's catalog photo layout!
Sinclair is a little excited to have more than the normal population of ten in our house. Sinclair was very overwhelmed at seeing all the lights and the nutcrackers coming out....she really has her eye on the garland on the banister. Of course she is too young to understand what exactly is happening -- but with the buildup of the next twenty six days I am sure she will rate Jesus' birthday next to hers among the most significant social events of her little life thus far.
Tonight, John's VP of Law, stopped by -- Bo is a former Miss Texas and she came by with the current Miss Texas Crystle Stewart -- there is no doubt in my mind (or in the mind of my friend, Leigh) that Crystle will be the next Miss USA. This girl is so gorgeous she takes your breath away. She will compete for the title of the Trump owned pageant in the Spring. We will be there to root her on! Crystle read Sinclair a bedtime story and my little Princess soaked in every second of being read to by pageant royalty. I made Crystle promise me that when she won her title as Miss USA and then Miss Universe that Sinclair could take her for "Show and Tell" .....hmmmmmmmmmmmm, maybe I will even make it a Miss Universe theme for Sinclair's next birthday. I'm on a roll now....my brain will be working overtime!
