Scotland - Day two

Still slow connection  -- this was the last driven pheasant shoot of the day.  It was a bitter wet cold approximately 30 degrees.  My faithful sidekick and trusted field guide,  Jimmy Lambie and I had a decent post.

I am convinced it is colder (wind chill) sitting in some deer stands in South Texas in December. Alas the adrenalin of the fast flying pheasants keeps your blood pumping through the sleet and snow.

I think I may have the blue bell ice cream biscuit recipe you mentioned in an earlier post- courtesy of the Junior League of Arlington, TX cookbook! Let us know if this is the right recipe and what you think!

4 rolls refrigerated biscuit dough, cut into quarters
1cup sugar mixed with 2 Tbsp cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup vanilla ice cream, melted

*Roll biscuits in butter and then the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place in a 9x13 pan, pour ice cream and brown sugar over . Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes. Allow to sit for 10-15 minutes, then invert onto another pan. These can be prepared the night before and baked the following day.
