End of a Chapter....RIP Art Linkletter

My heart has been heavy these past few weeks since I have had to come to terms with my little baby getting bigger.  This is the last week of school and she has been walking on air that next year she progresses to Pre-K.  I on the other hand have been torn that our three year olds level of independence is escalating at the speed of sound.

Today her wonderful teachers (that we have come to love like family) sent home her final book bag full of goodies such as art, crafts and a few short stories.

These stories narrated by Sinclair were too sweet (and funny) not to share (as told to her class and dictated by her teachers)

Zoey is my best friend and almost my sister. She found a lizard and tried to put him in my tea pot.  We forgot about the spout and the lizard ran out of the spout where it is open.  We then tried to take him upstairs to my playhouse.  The lizard bit Zoey but she was not scared.   We decided we better find a different home for the lizard and that maybe he wanted to live in the grass.  We don't know what happened next but he was dead.  We watched him for a little bit and decided that lizards must not go to heaven because he did not act excited about going.  We knew for sure he was died then.  This is why I only like to play with ladybugs since they don't bite. Then End

One day I had two new puppies at my ranch Bella and Bo.  They look like our protector Johnny Cash. My Mom got them to protect my Aunt Shanna when my we are at Houston house. Nothing scares Zoey.   As soon as they came to live at the ranch they went to the lake together to play and found a dead fish and my Aunt Shanna said "What happened to your puppies?   They stink! Peeewooooo!"   So my Aunt Shanna tried to wash them up lots of times but she just could not do it enough to make the stink go away.  So my Mom got our "Buddy" and he fixes everything and he and my Annie washed them all up and they got to keep living at the ranch after all.  The End.
